ABOUT
The Real Danger is a punkrock band from Holland. Founded in 2006, the band set out to write, record and perform melodic punkrock songs filled with hooks, catchy choruses and vocal harmonies, without compromising on energy and aggression.
Influenced mainly by Descendents, All and Face To Face, the band released a 4 song demo that same year, which was received very well. After teaming up with Dutch record label Shield Recordings, a full length LP saw the light of day in late 2007. The record established The Real Danger's status of a household name within the Dutch punkrock scene.
Many shows were played all over Holland, Belgium and Germany all throughout 2008. Good times.
Come 2009, a 2 song 7" was recorded and released, and the band embarked on their first short tour of Austria, Italy and France. New songs were written and rehearsed, resulting in the release of the band's second LP, Making Enemies, in 2010.
TRD set out on another European tour , and many more shows followed. Come 2011, the band is writing new material for a third album, which will hopefully see the light of day sometime this year.
